Shipping

We typically dispatch orders within 3-5 business days from the receipt of the order unless specified by us. You will receive an email once your order has been shipped. Once shipped, please allow approx. 5 to 7 business days for your order to arrive with standard shipping. 

Currently Sat.Suma is a very small business, run by a small team. It takes a little while to process the orders and get everything shipped out but we are constantly working towards shipping out your orders at the earliest.

Delivery delays, loss of parcel and damages. 

We use reliable shipping vendors and a shipping aggregator for our shipments via courier. Please note, we are not a courier company, therefore we are not liable in anyway for delays in delivery of your order. If your order has not reached you within the estimated time that your tracking details contain, you need to get in touch with us via email (hello@sat-suma.com) and to share the necessary details as soon as possible. We will work with the shipping aggregator to ensure your order is delivered at the earliest. 

In case you have received an intimation that your parcel has been delivered but you have not received it, you must get in touch with us immediately via email.  In such cases, time is of the essence and we have to inform our shipping aggregator about this case for them to investigate the issue. The shipping aggregator gives us up to 48 hours to claim an issue with a delivery. Post 48 hours, they mark the case as closed and will not open it under any circumstances. If you get in touch with us 48 hours after the shipment is claimed as delivered, we will not be liable to the loss of this product. We will be unable to refund or replace your product since there is no way for us to verify if the shipment was delivered at all or not. 

In case you have received a damaged parcel, please shoot an unedited unboxing video of the damaged box and products and share it with us immediately. We will then be able to take it up with the shipping aggregator. If more than 48 hours pass after receiving such a parcel, we will not be not be liable to the damaged products or box. We will be unable to refund or have your product returned to us as we will not be able to take it up with the courier company. 

 

Local deliveries, pick ups. 

We can offer to send a product via a local courier service like dunzo or porter but the cost of this will be borne by the customer. Please note that once the box is handed over to the local delivery person, we cannot be held liable for any damages or loss of product. If the local delivery person leaves your order outside your home or with a guard etc. and the product goes missing, we cannot be held liable to the loss of the box or products in this situation. 

We have a local pick up option available for those living in Pune. In this option, you could either come and pick up the products in person from our studio in Balewadi just by opting for local pick up at check out. By this method you will not be charged for shipping.

 

Returns & Refunds

Please note that due to the nature of our products, unfortunately, we do not offer any refunds or accept returns. We are unable to resell a product that has been outside our supervision hence all sales are final.

If you are unsatisfied with a product, please feel free to mail us at hello@sat-suma.com with the problem you might be facing and we will try our best to resolve it.

Cancellations

If for any reason you would like to cancel your order, you must do so within 24hrs of placing the order. Please email us at hello@sat-suma.com with your order number if you need any assistance on this.

Once shipped, we will not be able to cancel your order.

 

Appearance of the Soap

Our soaps are handcrafted in small batches and cut by hand and therefore no two bars will be alike. Various uncontrolled factors affect how saponification takes place and hence soaps vary from batch to batch as do designs. You might also find certain imperfections like small pockets of air or a whitish powder on the top of the soap called Soda Ash. All these are superficial, and will in no way affect the quality of the bar of soap you are using. These are artisanal products so please allow for slight variations and imperfections, these make each bar unique. Soaps may also appear different from the photographs taken. We try our best to photograph all the physical qualities of the soap, however, there might be some minor differences in the product you receive in comparison to the photograph.

We at Sat•Suma are not medical professionals and do not claim that the use of our products may have any positive effect on pre-existing physical and/or mental health conditions. The main purpose of soap is to cleanse.

We strongly recommend doing a patch test before using our products. If you do experience any irritation, please discontinue use.

You can cancel up to 5 days before for a full refund or carry forward to next workshop.

For any cancellations thereafter, we do not offer any refunds.
